The Army MWR Aquatics Program

Swim, Play, and Train with Us

The Aquatics Program offers safe, fun, and healthy ways to enjoy the water. We operate indoor pools year-round and outdoor pools during the summer season. Whether you want to swim laps for fitness, bring your family for a recreational swim, or learn lifesaving skills, our pools are here for you.

Swimming is more than just exercise - it’s a skill for life. Our program supports Soldier mission readiness with physical training (PT) space and keeps Families strong by offering recreation, swim lessons, and events for all ages. Every pool is staffed with trained lifeguards to make safety the top priority.

Across the world, our indoor pools are places to

  • Conduct unit water survival training
  • Enhance Service member swimming skills
  • Support the general health of the military community
  • Learn to swim, stay safe in the water, perform lifesaving techniques, or become a lifeguard
  • Stay fit with lap swimming, exercise classes, and competitive events

Why Participate

With MWR Aquatics, the military community gets exclusive access to fantastic facilities and programs – without breaking the bank. Here’s what you’ll find at your local MWR pool or aquatics facility:
