Steps to Become an FCC Provider

To become a certified FCC provider, you must complete the following steps:

  • Submit an Application: Complete the FCC Provider Application (DA Form 5279) and submit it to your local FCC office.

  • Complete a Family Interview: An FCC representative will visit your home to discuss expectations and answer questions.

  • Background Checks: A background check will be conducted for the applicant, military sponsor, and anyone older than 12 years old living in the home.

  • Attend Orientation and Training: Complete orientation training, including child safety, CPR, and child abuse prevention.

  • Home Safety Inspections: Your home must pass fire, safety, health, and sanitation inspections.

  • Receive Provisional Certification: Once approved, you will receive a provisional certification and can begin providing childcare.

REVENGE OF THE HAUNTED BASEMENT (MWR's Haunted House at Patton Hall)

Prepare for a chilling experience as the "Revenge of the Haunted Basement" returns to Historic Patton Hall. Last year they took over the basement. This year they expanded to the upstairs. From October 28th to 30th, the doors will be open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for those brave enough to enter. For an admission fee of $10 per person, you can descend into the darkness where whispers of the past await your return. This terrifying event challenges you to face the horrors that lurk within the historic walls of Patton Hall. Will you survive what lurks inside?

Join the Joint Base Community for a spooktacular celebration at the Fall-O-Ween Fest on Friday, October 30th. This exciting event is a collaborative effort between MWR, The Old Guard, The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own," and the entire Joint Base Community, promising a memorable evening of frights and delights. Get ready for live musical performances by TUSAB's Country Roads and Downrange Bands that will provide a thrilling soundtrack to the night's festivities. Prepare for an evening filled with "Fricks, Treats, and Community Fun!" designed for all ages. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities including a spooky Haunted House, creative Costume Contests, classic Hay Rides (AND HEADLESS HORSEMAN), and even some Pumpkin Smashing.
