Basic communication involves one person talking while the other listens. Why do we often fail to connect when speaking with family, co-workers, and friends? How do emotional reactions get in the way of real communication? If you find yourself asking these questions, Army Community Service (ACS) wants to help. During this training, the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) will provide techniques and practical exercises for becoming a better listener – making yourself heard and understood, even in difficult situations.
