FLANNEL & FALL FEST @ FORT MCNAIR
Get ready for a day of autumn excitement at the Flannel & Fall Fest at Fort McNair.
Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 1st, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and prepare for an afternoon of community fun. Come out to the Flag Pole and Softball area for some food, contests, music and games!!!
Test your skills with classic fair games like cornhole, horseshoes, axe-throwing, and the hi-striker, or have a blast with inflatable games including basketball, skee-ball, and Connect-Four. "Blue Ribbons" awards to the winners.
Indulge in delicious downhome food such as brisket sandwiches, bratwurst, currywurst, soft pretzels, caramel apples, and a (fest favorite) funnel fries. Maybe just hang out with a warm glass apple cider or a cool glass of sweet iced tea.
Don your best autumn attire for the Best Flannel Costume contest, play some games and have some fun.
ALSO we are looking for a few good cooks out there to compete in a Chili Cook-Off and Pie-Contest.
